Caitlin & Jeff were supposed to have their session in March, but thankfully, we bumped it to get a bit closer to the kind of spring that Caitlin says gives her the uncontrollable feeling of hope and happiness.
So last week, exactly 10 days before they get married, we met up the street from where they live. And they are a lucky pair because they live two blocks from downtown Parkville. Caitlin currently is an ESL teacher (but oddly enough, is the 2nd bride in a row on my blog who wants to someday own her own bakery!!!) and Jeff is a IT specialist...though he pines for a career on stage--as a drummer. And I wish I'd have been keeping track, but they are like the 6th couple I've worked with who met each other on the Interwebs. ;)
And today marks not only 4 days from the date they get hitched, but it's also Caitlin's birthday!!!!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY, CAIT!!!! ('twas perfect motivation to get this blog up today!!!)
When I asked Caitlin & Jeff a bit about them...as individuals and as a couple...one word came up several times. That word was RIDICULOUS. According to Jeff, Caitlin is the one who brings the ridiculousness to the relationship. After spending 2 hours with this pair in Parkville, Mo last week, I've concluded he's wrong. BOTH of them are ridiculous.
Ridiculously good at cuddling and nuzzling.
Get the ridiculous picture? If not, you're ridiculous. ;)
I cannot put my finger on who Caitlin reminds me of...anyone know? Definitely someone famous...whomever it is...is beautiful. Clearly.
FAVE FAVE FAVE FAVE.
(And sometimes, they are just ridiculously ridiculous)
No need to bring up the R word...but here they are, duking it out with sticks.
Never. A. Dull. Moment.
But there were definitely peaceful moments that were just so perfect...
But we can't close with a non-goofy pic. That would be doing these two lovebirds an injustice. ;) So instead, we'll go out with one last look at two real Parkville gangstas....
And in honor of Caitlin's job, I went ahead and looked up how to say "ridiculous" in various dialects. (Blog readers: you are welcome for satisfying your curiosity on this subject matter!)
Bulgarian : смешен
And I think the new way to say "ridiculous" in English should just be: Caitlin & Jeff :)
Now all of you know why I am looking so forward to shooting their wedding this Saturday!!! C & J...hope you're having a great week... (and Jeff, you better make sure Cait is having an even greater DAY! ;) ) xo
