They might look familiar because they are friends of Neil's & mine. So I had lots of fun shooting their Columbia reception, and then playing guest for awhile, sans camera!
Their favors were so fitting, since both of them are crazy runners. (I am so jealous of their motivation and endurance!!!)
(and that would be my husband on the far left side acting like a buffoon, subbing in for the groomsman who couldn't make it to Missouri, but was there in Cancun...)
And the stunning bride in all her glory....
In Stephen's words...these are a few of the reasons he is in love with his beautiful bride.
"Ashley has an incredible drive in whatever it is that she is doing. She has some wonderful goals, both personal and professional, in her life and I have no doubt that she will accomplish all of them. Ashley can be very focused and serious at times, but when she laughs and smiles I can’t find a thing wrong with life. Ashley has a great willingness to try new things. She is not afraid to “go for it,” and this is ultimately what lets her to continue to grow as a person all the time."
In Ashley's words...this is what she loves most about Stephen.
"I love who I am with Stephen and how he brings out the best in me and everyone around him. He is extremely loyal and compassionate and he reminds me multiple times a day how much he loves me and how much I mean to him. Plus, he’s so cute!! ;) "
Nothing warms me up during my least favorite season of the year like a beautiful wedding with beautiful people.
Quite possibly my favorite first dance pic ever... when Ashley laid her head on his chest, my heart sighed. TWICE. (and it was extra moving because their first dance song is in my top 10 love songs of all time: ANGEL EYES by the Jeff Healey Band.)
What a way to kick off 2011 weddings, eh? Stephen & Ashley, thank you so much for allowing me to capture the sequel to your wedding adventures. ;) Wishing you the best! Hope to see you both soon. xoxo
