A weekend of many loves: Omaha, two fellow photographers, beautiful weather...oh yeah, and the wedding...

When Lara Adkins asked me to shoot her wedding, I was flattered beyond belief because she's a stellar photographer herself. She and I have become super close in such a little amount of time. She helped shoot MY wedding back in June. We chat online all the time. And she wants me to tell you that we would have been in each other's wedding if we didn't have other duties. :) Then, to boot... Stacy Reeves, the other photographer at my own wedding...flew up from Dallas to shoot with ME!! It was such a fun weekend.
Anyway, so...about Lara and Chris...what a darling couple. Sarcastic. Witty. Laidback. Just my type!

So here are some of the images Stacy and I made off with that day...

The wedding was at the Magnolia Hotel in Omaha, Nebraska. Such a beautiful location on all fronts...and sides...and backs.

The suite where the girls got ready had a killer door... so perfect for dress shots. And same with the outdoor balcony.

And then of course...the bling o' bling.. and can you guess what her wedding color is?




Stacy got to play with the tilt shift lens... she rocked it.


I think i fell in love with Lara's bouquet. The crispness...sigh.


Lara & her mom are super close...and just as darling, no?

Chris & Lara opted to see each other before the ceremony. It was such a cute thing to witness. They always are. Sigh. Love. Sigh.

The ceremony was out in the courtyard. I loved how it was all so accessible.

Some fun with the wedding party...was had...by all. Lara's two sisters and friend were so great to be around. Good sports. No drama. Just how I love weddings.

See? I'm telling you...I could have been one of them... (haha)

Let us not forget the studs.


The entire group together was definitely a blast. And as much as we were warned the guys wouldn't be up for the whole picture thing... they rocked it. (and i think they might have even had fun!)




And then the loving couple.



And before it was party time, they traded in their shoes for something more comfy. And cool.
