I'm shooting the wedding of my dear pal, Paige, in April...we work together at my 8-to-5 job, so she is privy to my rants about how I can't wait until I can do photography full time. She "gets" my passion, so it was such a great experience to take engagement pics for her and her fiance, Joel, on Wednesday.
They are adorable together...he is mild where she is bold. Both are equally as good on the inside....
Although it was a scorcher (again!!), Joel and Paige were troopers...ah, the things you do for love.
Sweat was just as present as their feelings for one another.... and let's not forget about ME...my hair was soaked. I kept commenting about how I felt like I had just showered...but in that bad way.
Anyway, here are a few "teasers" from the shoot. I'm not finishing with the processing, but since I have to face Paige every day...and all day... I know I gotta get churning on them. :)
Although the roof of the noteworthy Heidelberg was closed to the public (too hot for outdoor intoxication??), he owner was a gem and opened it up. The sentimentality? It's where Paige and Joel met....
What was really cool, is that Joel didn't need any prodding...he was always for kissing his woman.
And then of course...
MORE TO COME!! :)
